Tanglewood 2013

The Boston Symphony Orchestra has announced the 2013 Tanglewood schedule, with an All-Tchaikovsky Opening Night, Bernstein's West Side Story performed with the 1961 film, and tributes to Wagner and Verdi.

The BSO's 2013-2014 Season

The 133rd season of the BSO is marked by an opening weekend of Brahms with Christoph von Dohnányi; major theatrical works, including Bernstein's West Side Story, Golijov's La Pasión según San Marcos (The Passion According to St. Mark), and Strauss's Salome; and multi-disciplinary "Insight" events surrounding Benjamin Britten's War Requiem and Beethoven's Piano Concertos, with Yefim Bronfman.
