BOSTON — Superstar rap moguls Jay-Z and Kanye West have dedicated a track on their new album to slain Pace University student Danroy "DJ" Henry, Jr. In the song, "Murder to Excellence," the artists insinuate the Easton native was murdered.

DJ Henry’s father, Danroy Henry Sr., says he’s happy the rappers have chosen to highlight his son’s death on their high-profile collaboration, "Watch The Throne."

"They are people who have a global following. And they have big voices and big followings and we hope that will open new doors and ask the same questions that we’re asking and do that on scale and in order of magnitude that forces folks who have been reluctant to give us the truth and truthful answers to do that," Henry said.

In April, the Henrys filed a lawsuit against Aaron Hess, the New York police officer who shot and killed DJ last October.
