WGBH on HD Digital Radio

HD Radio technology allows WGBH Radio to deliver more than one radio broadcast on its 89.7 frequency in dramatically increased, digital sound quality. WGBH 89.7 HD channels HD2 and HD3 offer much wider over-the-air coverage. This includes most of the area that our smaller signals, such as our newly acquired classical music station WCRB 99.5 and our cape and islands service WCAI 90.1, 91.1, and 94.3, can't reach. This is a great solution for anyone who lives in western Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or southern New Hampshire to listen to either WCRB or WCAI.

All-Classical WGBH 89.7 HD-2 (Soon to broadcast WCRB 99.5)

The best live and recorded classical music, 24 hours a day. In addition to WGBH 89.7 favorites like Cathy Fuller, Brian McCreath, or BSO Lives, All-Classical WGBH presents Performance Today, Exploring Music with Bill McGlaughlin, and World of Opera.

Coming Soon: WGBH 89.7 HD2 will broadcast the all classical music station WCRB 99.5 to much of our region.

WCAI 89.7 HD-3

WGBH Radio's 24-hour news & public affairs service broadcasts from WCAI, the Cape & Islands NPR Station. In addition to local voices like duPont-Columbia Award-winning journalist Sean Corcoran and broadcaster Mindy Todd, WCAI features programs by such public radio stalwarts as Click & Clack, Ira Glass, and Terri Gross.
