Tonight in a special edition of the Charlie Rose show, watch an interview in Damascus with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, which will run at 8pm, prior to President Obama's address to the Nation on intervention in Syria at 9pm, both on WGBH 2.

Rose asks Assad about the use of chemical weapons in Syria. This interview broadcasts one night before President Obama is scheduled to address the nation on his plans to respond to the situation in Syria.
